ACPL Partners with AARP to Provide Free Tax Assistance to All

The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is providing free in-person tax assistance

and preparation January 27 through April 16 at select Allen County Public Library (ACPL) locations as part of the nation’s largest free, volunteer-based tax assistance and preparation program. The program is led by trained volunteers and is open to all taxpayers, regardless of age. AARP membership is not required. Assistance is provided by appointment only.

"Our library's partnership with AARP is a tangible example of how we can connect the community to services in places where they are already gathering,” said ACPL Programs And Partnerships Specialist Melissa Martinez. “Through this collaboration, we are offering a valuable service, and ensuring our community has access to the resources they need

to navigate tax season with confidence, free of charge and open to all."

AARP Tax-Aide is available at the following ACPL and community locations:
