Fort Wayne Urban League Board Of Directors Announces Leadership Change

Plans underway to continue organization revitalization and growth

FORT WAYNE – The Fort Wayne Urban League (FWUL) Board of Directors has announced the departure of president and CEO Terra Brantley. Brantley will join WBOI 89.1, Northeast Indiana Public Radio, an affiliate of National Public Radio as President and General Manager. She will assume her role Jan. 31, 2022.

In making the announcement, FWUL Board Chair Kenneth Christmon stated, “During Terra’s time with FWUL she has provided excellent leadership and positive progress.” “Her positive impact within the community and innovative programming ideas have impacted the quality of life for the clients we serve, and have effectively elevated the awareness of FWUL throughout the city and beyond,” he added.

“It has been my honor to be a member of the FWUL family, said Terra Brantley. “The last six months have been filled with activities, initiatives, and programs to aid in the rebirth of this amazing organization. FWUL has and will always hold a special place in my heart,” she added.
