Indiana Tech Track
The Indiana Tech Track team is setting the track on fire! The team, composed of students from all over, have kicked off their season with several wins and records following an outstanding season last year in which both teams won the Indoor National Title in the NAIA conference as well as the WHAC and NAIA outdoor titles. They recently held their ring ceremony to honor last year’s accomplishments.

The commitment to being a student athlete in college is one full of hard work, determination and time management at its best. From class and studies to travel and practice, these athletes have to put it all together in order to be successful in their sport and sharp in the classroom.
The coaching staff is full of former athletes both local and from other cities who train, encourage and support these athletes in their journey and have continued to support and train the team.
Doug Edgar is entering his ninth season as the head track and field coach at Indiana Tech and 11th year overall with the program. He started with the Warriors as an assistant coach during the 2008 campaign and took over the head coaching responsibilities prior to the 2010-11 season.
Austin Roark has been promoted to a full-time assistant coach with the Indiana Tech track and field program. Now entering his fifth season with the Warriors, Roark is in charge of the jumps program for Tech and has mentored 44 All-Americans during his time with the program.
Alexander Kluchki was named the Head Cross Country and Assistant Track and Field Coach on February 11, 2021 and joined the Warriors on March 1.Prior to Indiana Tech, Kluchki has been coaching at NAIA competitor University of the Cumberlands as the Head Cross Country Coach and Assistant Track and Field Coach since 2016.
Wes Wheeler is the assistant coach for the hurdles.
Michael Bailey enters his second season with the Indiana Tech track and field program. He is over the throws program.
DeShawn Woods is an assistant coach entering his second season with the track program and is a former athlete, All-American, and National Champion with the program in recent years.
Brandon Bronzan joined the Indiana Tech Cross Country program as an assistant coach prior to the 2021 season.
Ken Ciolek is an assistant coach over the pole vault group.
Chauntiel Smith-Jones is an assistant coach of the Sprints entering her second season with the track program and is a former athlete, All-American, and National Champion with the program in recent years.
