Local Pageant Opportunities - Miss Fort Wayne & Miss Northeast Indiana Programs
Recently I was able to catch up with Kim McCutchan, one of 4 directors leading the Miss Fort Wayne and Miss Northeast Indiana programs which are part of the Miss America competition system.
Kim has been a part of the pageant system all the way back to her college days at Bowling Green University and even supported starting a Miss America preliminary pageant in Canton, Ohio when she finished college.
As she moved to Fort Wayne, she has been supporting the leadership of the Miss Fort Wayne competition which has recently merged with the Miss Northeast Indiana competition.
Kim along with Melanie, Kelsey & Lydia are the current pageant directors of Miss FW & Miss NE Programs. Melanie and Kelsey are both former title holders and Lydia is also a former local titleholder (Miss Fort Wayne 2018) who went on to become Miss Indiana 2018.
Kim says the competition focuses on empowering women and providing scholarships for higher education along with community service opportunities.
The upcoming preliminary competition on July 30 is open to everyone and the paperwork and registration is due by July 17th and can be obtained by request at this email address -

The candidates will participate in an evening gown category and talent category. The talent category is a 90 second spot doing something you are good at, not limited to music or dance. Talent can also be painting, speech, poetry, tumbling and more!
The eligible age groups are as follows:
18-26 (Miss category)
13-18 (Teen category)
5-12 (Noncompetitive pre-teen and Princess categories)
Both programs have Facebook pages under their listed names: Miss Fort Wayne and Miss Northeast Indiana.
