Dream Center Grand Opening

On Friday, March 24 at noon about 100 diverse and excited residents of Fort Wayne gathered at 1615 Wallace Street, the former long-time location of Stuart Manufacturing. The gathering was to celebrate the grand opening of The Dream Center with owner and CEO John Dortch. Dortch is a long time resident who also owns the Fort Wayne Ink Spot, the Penta Building on Calhoun, is CEO of the Preston Group and author of several books. He is a community leader, advocate, visionary and supporter of many. Proud husband, father and grandfather, a son and a brother, he dreams big and makes things happen! The Dream Center is committed to improving the lives of southeast residents through education, workshops, and community support by empowering them to achieve more and fulfill their dreams. The center will host a rotation of over 20 classes for residents including etiquette, resume building, fatherhood, what to do if you’re stopped by the police, communication courses, nutrition courses and more! These classes will be free to the community and the partners involved who will support and lead the classes are an all star cast! From the Fort Wayne Police Dept to Questa, to the YMCA, Inspired Nutrition with Kelly Marvin and more, classes should start in May and information will be forthcoming.
There are also coworking spaces available for lease to entrepreneurs and others seeking affordable office space and conference rooms for meetings.
Dreams do come true! Congrats to the visionary Mr. John Dortch who dreams, leads and makes things happen in our community!
