The 6th Annual Red Shoe Brunch
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is an organization of college educated women committed to the constructive development of its members and to public service with a primary focus on the Black community. It is a private , not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. The major programs of the sorority are based upon the organization's Five-Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health and Political Awareness and Involvement.
Annually, for the past six years, the Fort Wayne Alumnae Chapter has hosted the Red Shoe Brunch to honor women and women-led businesses in the Fort Wayne community.
This year's event with the theme, Unity in Action, will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the Euell Wilson Gym located at 1717 Wabash Ave. The keynote speaker is the Honorable Fort Wayne Mayor, Sharon Tucker. Mayor Tucker was honored in 2019 at this event with the Political Awareness and Involvement award for her work in the city at the time.
We invite the community of Fort Wayne to participate and support! Tickets are available on Eventbrite for $45 per person which includes brunch and the program.
