4th Biennial Meet the Candidates Forum  When: September 29, 2018

Hosted by the Fort Wayne African American Service Collaborative, the 4th Biennial Meet the Candidates Forum was held at the McMillen Park Community Center, from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M.  Candidates running for the 2018 general elections were given the opportunity to speak on their platforms to attendees who were themselves allowed to ask questions of the speakers. Notably, first-time candidate Denita Washington, who is running for the Adams Township Trustee office, was one of the speakers. 

Attendees were given the opportunity to peruse vendor tables and to register to vote


VOTING REGISTRATION ENDS | TUESDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2018

 

You may register to vote online at www.IndianaVoters.com, as long as you have

a valid Indiana driver’s license or an identification card. If you choose to register

in person or by mail, you can print the voter registration

form from the website or obtain a copy at your county’s voter registration office.

 

To be eligible to register, you must:

1. Be a citizen of the United States;

2. Be at least 18 years old on the day of the next general,

municipal or special election;

3. Have lived in your precinct at least 30 days before the next general,

municipal or special election; and,

4. Not currently be imprisoned after convicted of a crime.

 

Early Voting Begins October 10, 2018, at five locations in Allen County
