Summer Community Celebration at McMillen Park When: August 3, 2019

The 3rd Annual Summer Community Celebration, with music from the Sweetwater All-Stars and headlined by the S.O.S. Band and Zapp!, went down all day Saturday at McMillen Park.  County Councilwoman Sharon Tucker, interviewed by the Journal Gazette, said the celebration, representing love and care, does serve other purposes.  “It brings us together as a community.  And here we can have those hard talks about infant mortality, we have the hard talks about the importance of getting out and voting and people will not be offended.”
