Your Health Is Your Wealth

Mental Health can be defined as your state of mind. Our emotional, psychological, physical, spiritual, and social well-being are all parts of our mental health. Our mental health influences our feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. It also influences how we respond to stress, how we interact with people, and how we make decisions.
Life feels more difficult when our mental health is not in optimal condition. We may experience sadness, tears, exhaustion, and hopelessness frequently. We may experience excruciating stress or worry constantly about negative outcomes for ourselves or the people we love.
Every stage of life, from infancy to adulthood, is critical for good mental health. Good mental health is free from anxiety, depression, and stress. If you think you are experiencing any symptoms of mental illness, consult with your parents, pastor, guidance counselor, or someone you trust.
Exercising good mental health practices can:
• boost self-esteem,
• improve relationships,
• increase productivity,
• improve learning,
• stimulate creativity,
• improve physical health
Maintaining positive mental health practices not only makes it easier to function on a daily basis, but it also helps prevent or at least manage, some of the emotional, psychological, physical, spiritual, and social health issues that you may be experiencing.
Remember YOUR HEALTH IS YOUR WEALTH! TAKE CARE OF ALL OF YOU!
