Voices of Unity Youth Choir Named World Champions at 2024 World Choir Games
The Voices of Unity Youth Choir has triumphed on the international stage, winning a Gold Medal in the Gospel category at the 2024 World Choir Games in Auckland, New Zealand. This prestigious award is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and exceptional talent of the young choir members.
The World Choir Games brought over 11,000 singers from over 30 countries together from around the world, considered The Olympics of The Choral World, it’s the largest choral competition and festival on the planet.
UNITY Students from ages 6 to 18 plus eight adult alumni, not only scored gold (scoring 92.5 out of 100), but they were judged higher than any other gold medal-winning choir in their category for the title of World Champions. Led by Music Director, Marshall White, who founded UNITY 24 years ago, this choir is one of the youngest ever to compete in the games.
Voices of Unity Youth Choir and the Unity Performing Arts Foundation transform young lives into high-character leaders through the platform of the arts and are proud to represent Fort Wayne, Indiana, and the USA at this prestigious event.
