Outgrowing its current space during its more than one decade of service in Fort Wayne, Hideout 125 is officially moving.
The new facility will bring steak, seafood, signature cocktails and a prohibition themed fine dining experience just around the corner from the restaurant's current location.
Hideout 125, 1021 Woodland Plaza Run, is upgrading to a 7,700 square foot building.
“God has blessed me with the best team in the world, and without them, Hideout 125 is not Hideout 125. I love every one of you for what you bring to the table,” Owner Sherman Bell said. “I would like to thank every vendor who has supported Hideout and thank you to every independent restaurant operator who has elevated the Fort Wayne culinary scene and also inspired me.”
Hideout 125 staff, Mayor Sharon Tucker, Bippis Bank President Eric Fawcett and MKS Owner Doug Kinder were also in attendance at the ceremony.
“Sherman and his wife, Didi, have been great partners, not only to the City of Fort Wayne, but to myself as friends. And I’m very, very proud to be here today to celebrate with them and to turn the dirt,” Tucker said. “Investing in our communities and making a path for businesses are one of the key factors that makes Fort Wayne such a strong and thriving community.”
Construction will begin soon, and the new facility is expected to open in the summer of 2025.
