Knowledge Bowl 2018 When: March 1, 2018

The Allen County Public Library Downtown housed Union Baptist Church’s 25th Annual Black History Knowledge Bowl.  In celebration of 25 years, there were five teams from across the city with a multi-generational mix of participants. 

Energy was high as moderator, Dr. Kenneth Austin, moved through the four rounds of questions across the nine categories.  This year’s teams received prize money for 1st through 4th place and team medallions for 1st – 3rd place.

The first place team of adults (Misty Gause, Tom Ransom, PJ Hardy, Paula McGee, Don Easley and Betty Buttram) represented Turner Chapel AME Church. A youth team from Turner Chapel also competed.
