Obama's Other Daughters: Black Girl Magic When: February 28, 2018

Obama’s Other Daughters (OOD), the all-female, all-Black improv comedy troupe out of Los Angeles, punctuated the end of Black History Month with a show at IPFW. OOD’s mission is to enrich the world of comedy by showing varied and authentic representations of Black women.

Members Mora Carew, Ashley Holston, Shakira Paye, and Yazmin Monet Watkins performed and solicited audience participation. IPFW’s Office of Diversity & Multicultural Affairs, as well as the Diversity Council, Indiana/Purdue Student Government Association, and the Center for Women and Returning Adults sponsored the event.
