Parkview Cancer Institute To Open When: June 5, 2018

The new 181,000 square-foot Parkview Cancer Institute will have its debut the first full week in June, located at entrance 12 on the Parkview Regional Medical Center campus (off Dupont Road), at 11050 Parkview Circle Drive, Fort Wayne, IN 46845.

The Parkview Cancer Institute aims to implement integrated care for its patients. As per Parkview’s media release, “patients will have the comfort of knowing that their medical oncologist, surgeon and/or proceduralist are working side-by-side right outside the exam room.”

The center will boast such innovations and amenities as collaborative care, point-of-contact nurse navigators, nutritional counseling with a registered dietitian, genetic counseling and testing to clarify a patient’s cancer risk, cancer support groups, a wig boutique, and national research studies open to patients for participation in appropriate national and international clinical trials.
