Adrian Curry Wins Arts United’s 2019 Emerging Leader Award When: February 28, 2019

Out of a field that included local leaders Stephanie Fisher, Aaron Samra, Emily Schwartz, and Nick Tash, the Art Leadership Center founder and director, Adrian Curry, won the Arts United’s Emerging Leader award for 2019.  Curry was nominated by 90+ community individuals and organizations and was presented his award by local songstress Fatima Washington at the Ian Rolland Gallery, in the Arts United Center at 303 East Main Street.

Other 2019 awardees include: WBOI’s Julie Meek (Lifetime Achievement), Alexandria Hall (Outstanding Advocate), Gloria Minnich (Margaret Ann Keegan Award for arts education), Violetta Todorova (Emerging Artist), Susan Johnson (Outstanding Volunteer), Orion Rapp (Outstanding Artist), Lynne Gilmore (Lifetime Achievement), and FAME’s Celebration of Youth Concert (Outstanding Collaboration).
