“Was the DREAM real?” was the poster heading for the MLK Club, Inc. Fort Wayne’s Dr. King Unity Celebration event, held, as always, at the Grand Wayne Convention Center. Guest speaker Nic Stone headlined the event; 100 copies of her book “Dear Martin” were distributed free at the event. In addition to speakers Dr. Rudy Kachmann, MD and 10-Point Coalition’s Pastor Lewis King,  Reverend Raymond C. Dix, of Pilgrim Baptist Church, and the MLK Club’s own Heather Essex conducted the event’s symposium with community leaders (see picture).
