United Front Faith
On Tuesday, February 22 at an event hosted by Brotherhood Mutual, Fort Wayne United Faith kicked off featuring local pastors and community leaders who look to partner together to bring the conversations of shared humanity, race, diversity and ethnicity to the forefront within church congregations while connecting outside of the walls of the church. The city has successfully completed the first year of the United Front initiative which has taken thousands of local leaders in addition to leaders in other cities through a curriculum led by Dr. Pascal Losambe and the United Front team of community volunteers. From topics such as Belonging to Bias and Stereotype Threat, many have been encouraged and enlightened to a new level of understanding of the idea of shared humanity and how we all play a part. In addition to United Front Faith, in 2022, there will also be opportunities for continuing education, certification/accreditation as well as kicking off United Front Youth and United Front National.
Upcoming events include a kickoff at local churches in March and nationally recognized Pastor Albert Tate at the Clyde on Thursday, April 14.
