Kevin Muhammad is the owner and the restaurant offers both sit down and carry out. You can also order online at
Elijahsfood.com as well as through Door dash and Grub hub.
Mr. Muhammad named the restaurant after his late Grandfather Elijah McDonald who owned a restaurant for 30 years in Fort Wayne. He thought it was a great family tradition to honor his grandfather.
He also has learned healthy eating practices from Elijah Mohammed.
He feels that we need this type of restaurant that serves homemade healthy food including vegetarian options. “Our community is suffering from preventable diseases due to how we eat”, says Mohammed.
The menu is inspired from his personal eating regimen as he would let people try food he was eating at home.
There is no red meat and no fried items but healthy fish and chicken options in addition to vegetarian and breakfast options.
The Savor special:
Stuffed cabbage wraps-middle eastern inspired dish with grilled chicken, brown rice, shredded carrots and spices. Includes steamed cauliflower glazed candied carrots on the side.
Potato pucks -potato slices topped w cheddar cheese, cilantro, tomatoes and sour cream
Strawberry cheesecake
Also the New Years special includes a free slice of cheesecake with any order.
Lastly the restaurant takes reservations, hosts private parties as well as offers off-site catering including wedding receptions.
