Pique Magazine Release Party When: May 4, 2018

The makers of Pique: Fort Wayne Art & Culture magazine celebrated the release of their Spring 2018: Issue Three edition with a party at the Cinema Center’s Spectator Lounge, followed by an after party at The Brass Rail. Accepted artwork, based on the issue’s theme of “Into The Wild,” and work from featured artists were on display.

The issue boasted a double-page spread (pages 52 and 53) of photographs from the Music Lovers Lounge, the monthly get down hosted by DJ Barrage (Tray Brookshire) and DJ Polaris (Ghani Zahir).

Theopolis Smith painted the issue’s cover: “It’s of a woman drawn from inspiration of my wife. It’s the awakening, of finding yourself, and knowing that you’re more than you give yourself credit for as a woman.”

In addition to their biannual publication, Pique publishes weekly content on their website, PiqueFortWayne.com.
